‘Tell me, how many Jews do you number among your personal friends?’

I find it hilarious that this is the way Molly tries to prove that Richard is an anti-Semite (by getting him to say "none," presumably). It is probably my 2008 right-coast American sensibility: that is not the way to prove that one is not prejudiced. Or maybe Molly does turn out to have views towards Jews that are less "correct" than what she would like to believe?

LOL you're right. It sounds like the (still often heard) phrase "Some of my best friends are..."
